Plantation Barbados 10 Oloroso 2021 XO Rum (70cl, 49%)

A single cask aged rum from Barbados, distilled at West Indies Rum Distillery and bottled under the Plantation Planteray name. It is made from molasses, fermented for three to four days and distilled in both pot and column stills. The rum matured for four years in American bourbon casks in its country of origin, then five and a half years in Ferrand casks and four months in Oloroso sherry casks. Limited to two casks. On the nose it shows caramel, rum-raisin chocolate and sherry. The palate is fruit-led with fine acidity, sherry aromas and wood.
