A single cask rum from the West Indies Rum Distillery, made from molasses on pot and column stills. It is double matured: one year in American bourbon casks, then four years in Ferrand casks and five years in Arran whisky casks. Esters are 42, VC 99 and dosage is 0. The nose brings freshly ground nuts, caramel, subtle mango, cinnamon and vanilla. The palate is candy-sweet with light fruit notes, malt and grain.
