A single cask rum from Barbados, distilled in 2007 and double matured. It first aged in former bourbon casks in a tropical climate, then received its finish in ex-Ferrand casks of French oak in south-west France. The nose is complex, with pear, cider, passion fruit, violet and port wine. The palate is elegant, with maraschino and fresh mint, and the finish is long, spicy and floral.
