A single cask rum from West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados, distilled in 2014 from molasses. It was matured for five years in American bourbon barrels, one year in Ferrand casks and one year in Malbec casks. The ester level is 81, with a dosage of 0. Malbec is a grape variety originally from France, now mainly grown in South Africa and South America, producing fruity and spicy wines.
Nose: dark cherries, chocolate, spicy notes and tannins. Palate: cherry aromas.
