A single cask rum from Barbados, distilled from molasses at West Indies Rum Distillery using pot and column stills.
It was aged for six years in American Bourbon casks in the country of origin, then finished for two years in Ferrand casks and one year in French Muscat wine casks. The cask is numbered 14, with esters 87, VC 163 and dosage 8.
The nose is fruity and honeyed, with acacia and broom, citrus fruits, apricot, tobacco and liquorice. The palate is rich and oily, with beeswax, tropical fruits, hazelnut and lightly aniseed notes.
