A single cask rum from West Indies Rum Distillery, made from molasses on pot and column stills.
It was fermented for two to three days, aged six years in American Bourbon casks in the country of origin, then two years in Ferrand casks and one year in French Muscat wine casks. It is bottled at 48% vol. in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is fruity and honeyed with acacia, broom, citrus, apricot, tobacco and liquorice; the palate is rich and oily with beeswax, tropical fruits, hazelnut and lightly aniseed notes.
