A single cask rum from the Clarendon Distillery, distilled in 2012 and bottled at 50.8% ABV in a 700 ml bottle. It is made from molasses and was aged five years in American bourbon casks, five years in Ferrand casks and one year in Calvados casks, with zero dosage.
The nose brings lighter Jamaican rum notes with tropical fruit and cooked apple, alongside lime zest, pear juice, pineapple, star fruit, cooked banana, jasmine and vanilla. The palate follows closely, with subtle Calvados aromas, fresh and oily textures, herbal notes, tropical fruit and lacquer.
