A limited edition rum from Venezuela, distilled in 2010 from molasses in a column still. It spent 8 years in ex-bourbon casks and 4 years in Ferrand French oak, with zero dosage.
The nose is delicate and rich, with nutmeg, honey, vanilla, mandarin, coconut, coffee and a light floral note. The palate is spicy and woody, with peanut, tobacco, almond, oak, paprika, crème brûlée, pineapple and dried banana, and the finish is long and dry with hazelnut, leather, mango, orange, banana and clove.
