Plantation Trinidad One Time is a limited edition Trinidad rum distilled in 2009 from molasses. It fermented for three days and was distilled in a multi-column still, then aged for 11 years in American bourbon casks in its country of origin and finished for one year in Ferrand casks at Maison Ferrand. The nose has tonka bean, vanilla, caramel, coffee, cooked fruit and nuts with fresh spicy and floral notes. The palate is structured and complex with pastry and petrol notes. The finish has bitter almond, orgeat, fresh citrus and elegant wood.
