A 40-year-old single cask rum from the Clarendon distillery in Jamaica, distilled in 1984 and bottled in 2024. It is made from molasses and matured first in American bourbon casks, then finished in Ferrand casks. The outturn is 317 numbered bottles, each signed by Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel.
On the nose it is complex, lightly smoky, fruity, herbal, with sour notes, vanilla and sweet banana. The palate is dry, floral and fruity, with rose water, pear, white grape, apricot, coconut milk, allspice, bread and nuts.
