Planteray Barbados 2016 2024 Amarone Cask #19 is a single cask aged rum from West Indies Rum Distillery, distilled from molasses and bottled at 44.9% vol in a 700 ml bottle. It was made in the English style using a long fermentation and traditional pot still, with vanilla and caramel notes and ageing in bourbon casks, then finished in an Amarone cask. Ester 77, VC 199, dosage 4.5 g. The nose is fruity and elegant, with raisin, fig, pear, black cherry and banana. The palate is complex, with chocolate and black pepper, and the finish is long, with butterscotch and cream.
