A single cask rum from the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados, distilled in 2017 and bottled at 48.4% vol in a 70cl bottle.
It is made from molasses and matured for three years in Bourbon casks, two years and eight months in Ferrand casks, and two years and two months in a Marsala cask. The cask is numbered #05/16.
The nose has tropical fruits, coconut blossom syrup, apricot brandy, raisin and toasted almonds; the palate has spicy sweetness, bitter fruit notes, spice aromas, raisins and wood; the finish is spicy and dry.
