A single cask aged rum from Barbados, distilled in 2018 from molasses at West Indies Rum Distillery. It matured for three years in bourbon casks, then two years in Ferrand casks and one year in Saint Estèphe casks. Saint Estèphe is a wine-growing area in the Bordeaux region.
The nose shows red wine aromas, preserved sour cherries, brioche and pastry-like sweetness. The palate has finely integrated but pronounced fruit acidity from vanilla, apricots and sweet cherries, with a long finish.
