A single cask aged rum from Jamaica, distilled from molasses at Lluidas Vale. It spent five years in bourbon casks, followed by an eight-month finish in Ferrand Dry Curaçao casks. Ferrand Dry Curaçao is an orange liqueur made from Cognac, brandy and a distillate of Lahara oranges.
The nose has Jamaican aromatics: dark berries, ester notes, roasted aromas, candied orange peel, orange zest and spicy notes. The palate is very present, with orange peel, strongly reduced orange marmalade, light chocolate and spicy fruit sweetness.
