A single cask rum from Long Pond Distillery, distilled in 2023 and bottled at 43.7% ABV in a 700 ml bottle. Made from molasses, it spent no time in bourbon casks, two years and two months in Ferrand casks and eleven months in a Chardonnay wine cask, with zero dosage.
The nose shows grilled pineapple, almonds, banana, butter, wax, apple, lime, chamomile, flinty notes and lemon zest. The palate is creamy with smoked agave, orange, melon, butter, vanilla, peach and cream, while the finish brings chocolate, almond, caramel, cloves, chalk and figs.
