A single cask aged rum from Spain, distilled in 2012 from molasses at Azucarera del Guadalfeo. It matured for eleven years and four months in bourbon casks, followed by an eight-month finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Pedro Ximénez is a grape variety grown mainly in southern Spain and used to make Pedro Ximénez sherry.
The nose is herbal with a hint of lovage, nuts, coffee, chocolate and dark berries. The palate is pleasantly mild with spicy sweetness, with light fruit aromas also perceptible.
