Port Askaig 45 Year Old is an Islay single malt bottled at 40.8% in a 70cl bottle. Five sherry butts were married together to make it.
The distillery behind it is a mystery, thought to be one near Port Askaig on the north east shores of Islay. Younger releases under the Port Askaig name were rumoured to be Caol Ila, while speculation about this one points instead to Bunnahabhain, the other distillery by Port Askaig.
