This is a Port Charlotte single malt from the Bruichladdich distillery on Islay, a limited edition from the 2012 vintage. It is peated and bottled at 55.2% in a 70cl bottle, and it comes in a tube.
Three kinds of cask went into it: ex-sherry butts, first-fill and refill bourbon casks, and a finish in ex-Sauternes casks. The combination adds a distinctive note to the smoky style of Port Charlotte.
