Port Charlotte PMC:01 is a single malt from Bruichladdich on Islay, and the sixth release in the Port Charlotte Cask Exploration series. It follows Bruichladdich's earlier Exploration whiskies.
Like those, it draws on Bordeaux influence, and it brings Pomerol casks into the series for the first time. The release is framed as an experiment in terroir, pairing the Port Charlotte single malt with the character of the oak.
