Port Charlotte is the peated single malt made at Bruichladdich on Islay, and this is its Islay Barley bottling from 2014. The nose opens with billowing peat smoke wrapped around malt, vanilla, honey and toffee, with hints of citrus fruit, peach and apple. The peat smoke returns on the palate, alongside lemon, apricot, melon, peach, charred heather, coconut and tobacco.
