Port Charlotte SYC:01 is a 10-year-old single malt from Bruichladdich's heavily peated Islay spirit, bottled at 54.4% ABV. It is the first release in the distillery's cask exploration series to be matured in Syrah casks. It is bottled at natural colour without chill filtration.
The wine casks sit alongside the elegant peat smoke of the malt. The result is usually described as bringing succulent berries, sweet strawberry notes and hints of warm citrus.
