Powers Gold Label is an Irish blended whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43.2% ABV without chill-filtration. The Powers name goes back to 1791.
The whiskey is triple distilled, with a narrow cut taken from the middle of the run to concentrate the spirit used. It is matured in American oak casks.
The nose opens with mandarin and banana, followed by honey and a peppery touch. On the palate, pear and peach meet chocolate and oak spice, with a soft, full mouthfeel. The finish leaves honey sweetness and spice with a gentle woody note.
