Powers Three Swallow is an Irish single pot still whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It is made from a mix of malted and unmalted barley, triple distilled in copper stills and matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks. It is bottled without chill filtration.
On the nose, barley and green banana meet grapefruit, with marzipan adding a nutty note. The palate has green apple and firm barley, while cedar wood and herbs bring a dry spice. The finish holds toasted oak, with a restrained sherry sweetness alongside.
