Premier Barrel Tamdhu 10 Year Old is a malt whisky matured entirely in sherry casks, bottled at 46% ABV in a ceramic bottle. This release of 438 bottles joins the Premier Barrel series. The nose is sweet, with morello cherry preserve and plenty of forest berries, softened by a little old leather and bitter almond. The palate shows distinct sherry character, crisp cherry, brandy-soaked cherry with its stone and almond, honey and tobacco. The finish is not syrupy and dries nicely.
