Principe di Ribano Romagna Sangiovese DOC Superiore

A Romagna Sangiovese from Spalletti, produced under the DOC Superiore designation. It shows a complex bouquet of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, enriched by spice notes and a light touch of vanilla from maturation in barrique. On the palate it is full and harmonious, with mature, well-integrated tannins and the acidity typical of Sangiovese, making it suitable for immediate drinking or medium ageing. The finish is long and persistent, recalling the fruity and spicy notes perceived on the nose. It is suited to robust dishes such as roast red meats, game and aged cheeses.
