This is a single cask Highland single malt from Pulteney, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice range. It was distilled in 2005 and matured for 20 years in refill sherry butt 1680.
It was bottled in September 2025 at a cask strength of 56.9% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The cask gave 534 bottles, with no chill-filtering and no added colour.
The nose brings raisins, blackcurrant and cinnamon. On the palate there are stewed berries, walnut and caramelised apple. The finish is long, with raspberry, salted liquorice and fine tannins.
