Pulteney – 2008-2021 12 Year Old Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection Single Cask 15 (70cl, 55.8%)

This is a single cask Pulteney from Highland distillery, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2021 at 12 years old. Signatory Vintage released it at 55.8% in a 70cl bottle as part of its Cask Strength Collection. The whisky began its maturation in bourbon barrels. It was then moved into a fresh sherry butt for a 33-month secondary maturation, one of Signatory's long sherry cask finishes. Pulteney's spirit is described as pairing well with sherry casks, its sweeter edges balanced by a coastal weight and a thread of salinity.
