Pursuit United Barrel Proof Triple Mash Bourbon (70cl)

Pursuit United Barrel Proof Triple Mash Bourbon is a blended straight bourbon from Pursuit Spirits in Kentucky, in a 70cl bottle. It is bottled at barrel proof, uncut and unfiltered, so the strength changes from batch to batch, with most batches around 119 to 120 proof. The Triple Mash idea is to blend several bourbon mash styles into one whiskey, and this is the strongest bottling in the Pursuit United range. Each batch is drawn from selected barrels and bottled without dilution. The nose is rich caramelised fruit, fresh pastry, toasted oak and warm spice. On the palate come candied nuts, dark sugar, cocoa, ripe berries and layered baking spice. The finish is long and warming, with oak, spice and sweetness lingering.
