R. Jelinek Pear Williams Pear Brandy (70cl, 42%)

R. Jelinek Pear Williams is a kosher fruit distillate made from Williams pears, bottled at 42% vol in a 70cl bottle. The company has invested in pear production in Chile, one of the larger producers of Williams pears, and makes the spirit in Vizovice. The kosher certification is overseen by the Orthodox Union. The distillate passes through three stages of distillation and is then matured, which helps the aromas and flavours settle into a rounded spirit. The character is subtle fruit, with the aromas typical of the pear.
