This is an Indian single malt from the Rampur Distillery, distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2024 after eight years in first-fill American bourbon barrels. It comes from cask 995, in a 70cl bottle supplied in a tube, at a cask strength of 57.5% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose is full of vanilla and ripe tropical fruit with a subtle malt note. The palate is full-bodied, with honey, spice and caramel shaped by the bourbon cask. The finish is long, warm and gentle, with sweet oak.
