Ransom Bourbon Whiskey (75cl)

A small-batch bourbon from Ransom Spirits in Oregon's Willamette Valley, in a 750 ml bottle. The mash bill uses four grains, 66% corn, 23% rye, 6% wheat and 4% malted barley, all grown on the distillery's organic farm. It is distilled in French alembic pot stills and aged in charred American oak. The nose is warm toffee, soft caramel, sweet corn and earthy grain. The palate shows honey, soft oak and vanilla over cocoa powder and anise. The finish is long and spicy, with a warming rye note and a touch of orange zest.
