Rare Character RCLR 2026 Q1 Batch 2 Straight Rye Whiskey (75cl, 60.2%)

This is a cask strength straight rye whiskey from Rare Character, bottled at 60.2% ABV (120.4 proof). It is non-chill-filtered and limited to 2,630 bottles. Batch 2 of the 2026 first quarter release blends rye distilled in Kentucky and Indiana, aged 7 and 8 years. The Indiana component has a 95% rye and 5% malted barley mash bill, while the Kentucky one is 51% rye, 45% corn and 4% malted barley. It is the first small batch rye the brand has produced. Pepper and grain-forward spice arrive first, followed by corn sweetness and caramel through the mid-palate.
