Rare Malts Selection Clynelish 24 Years 1972 (70cl, 61.3%)

This Clynelish was distilled in 1972 and bottled in September 1997 at 24 years old for the Rare Malts Selection. It is bottled at 61.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Clynelish is an anglicised form of the Gaelic for green meadow. The name is much older than the distillery known today and has appeared on whisky labels for two hundred years. Although it is a coastal malt, it is associated with sweet floral aromas and green flavours.
