Redbreast 18 Year Old is a single pot still Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46%. It is the first permanent addition to the Redbreast family in four years.
It was matured in ex-bourbon barrels together with casks seasoned with oloroso sherry, cream sherry and ruby port. The cream sherry casks come from the Antonio Páez Lobato cooperage.
The nose offers blackcurrants, raspberries, cherries and dried fig, with hazelnut chocolate and toasted almonds. The palate is full-bodied, with ginger, liquorice, dried fruits and orange peel, and the finish is rich and lasting.
