Redbreast Lustau Edition Sherry Finish (70cl, 46%)

This is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Redbreast, distilled at Midleton and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has colour added. After its main maturation it is finished in Oloroso sherry seasoned butts from the Spanish bodega Lustau, and the whiskey is triple distilled. The nose is rich, with dried fruit, sweet sherry, apricot and a touch of cinnamon. The palate is full and velvety, with nutty notes, sherry sweetness and gentle spice. The finish is long and warming, with a soft sherry note.
