Redbreast Lustau Edition is a single pot still Irish whiskey from Midleton, triple distilled and finished in sherry casks. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is rich with dark fruit, prunes, dates and figs, together with liquorice, marzipan, toasted oak and aromatic spices.
The palate is soft and silky, with strong spices balanced by the richness of the sherry and fresh Spanish oak. The finish is very long, with sweetness and mixed spices lingering, and oloroso sherry and Spanish oak coming through last.
