Redemption Rye is the flagship release of the Redemption brand, in a 750ml bottle. It is made with a 95% rye mash bill, in the spirit of the spicy rye whiskeys that were made in America before Prohibition. It is bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof).
The nose is bright and botanical, with fresh rye grass, mint, star anise and light citrus peel. The palate is bold and peppery, with black pepper, cinnamon and fennel, rounded by a touch of caramel and toasted oak. The finish is crisp, dry and very long, with mint and heavy baking spice.
