Redemption Straight Rye Rum Cask Finish is an American straight rye whiskey in a 75cl bottle, made from a mash bill of 95% rye.
It is aged in new charred American oak, then finished in casks that previously held rum from Jamaica and Barbados. The rum finish softens the rye's natural bite.
The nose is aromatic and sweet, with baking spice, caramelised plantain, toasted coconut and citrus. The palate is rich and velvety, with peppery rye, molasses, cinnamon, dark fruit and vanilla. The finish is long and warm, with tropical fruit and sweet rum character.
