Redwood Empire Devils Tower is a high rye bourbon from Redwood Empire Distilling in Sonoma County, California. It is bottled at 49.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is made from four grains: 51% corn, 45% rye, 2% wheat and 2% malt. The bourbon is blended from 25 hand-selected barrels, toasted and char #3, aged for at least five years on the Northern California coast. The nose combines honeysuckle, vanilla, kettle corn and green apple, with black pepper and baking spice beneath. The palate is honeyed, with caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon and cardamom, then grapefruit pith and mint. The finish is medium to long, with tobacco leaf, licorice and dry hay.
