Redwood Empire Grizzly Beast Bottled in Bond Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Grizzly Beast is Redwood Empire's first bottled-in-bond bourbon made entirely from its own distillate. It is bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle, under the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. The whiskey is single-distillery, single-season and five years old, made grain to glass at Redwood Empire Distilling in Graton, Sonoma County, California. It is non-chill filtered, proofed with Russian River Valley aquifer water and aged in 53-gallon new American white oak barrels. The official notes give charred sugar, cherry cola and reduced red currant on the nose, and molasses, almond brittle and lemon bar on the palate, with a bronze-honey colour.
