Redwood Empire Pipe Dream is a straight bourbon distilled and matured in Sonoma County, California, by Redwood Empire Distilling. It is bottled at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The bourbon is aged in charred American oak casks on the redwood coast and pours a warm amber.
On the nose it shows sweet corn, toasted vanilla, baked apple and honeyed caramel with a touch of wood spice. The palate is oily and smooth, with butterscotch, roasted nuts, cinnamon and dark chocolate, leading to a long, warming, sweet finish.
