Redwood Empire Rocket Top Bottled-in-Bond Rye (75cl, 50%)

Rocket Top is a straight rye whiskey from Redwood Empire, bottled at 100 proof in a 75cl format and made to the rules of the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. It was distilled in a single season and aged for at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse. The barrels were chosen from a closely checked selection before bottling. On the nose there is dark cherry, warm baking spices, fresh herbs and seasoned oak. The palate pairs white pepper and clove with caramel, honeyed vanilla and toasted nuts, and the finish is long and spicy with a dry oak character.
