Reinheart Rye Whiskey is a seven-year-old rye from Hammer & Son, distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2022 from a single cask, number 2. It is bottled at a cask strength of 56.8% in a 70cl bottle. The whiskey matured in virgin oak barrels and is not chill filtered. It was made in the United States from a rye mash bill. The nose brings baking spices, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg with caramel, toasted oak and dried fruit. The palate is full-bodied, with peppery rye, vanilla, butterscotch, tobacco and leather, and the finish is long, with spice, dried fruit and oak tannins.
