Reservoir Founder's Wheat Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Reservoir Founder's Wheat Whiskey comes from Reservoir Distillery in Virginia. Its mash bill is 100% locally sourced Virginia wheat, rather than wheat used as a secondary grain. It is aged in the distillery's heavily charred quarter-casks and bottled at 100 proof in a 75cl bottle. The style is soft and fruit-forward, without the peppery bite of many bourbons and ryes. The nose is orange blossom, honey, butterscotch and light oak. The palate is soft and creamy, with vanilla bean, baked pastries, toasted nuts and apricot. The finish is clean and lingering, with gentle sweetness and toasted wood.
