Rinomato Americano Bianco (1L, 17%)

Rinomato Americano Bianco is a white americano style aperitif from Asti in Piedmont, bottled at 17% in a 1 litre bottle. It is built on white wine blended with botanicals including gentian root, wormwood and sweet citrus peels. The plants are macerated slowly, so the wine takes on the herbal character while keeping its crisp acidity. It works over ice with tonic or soda, in a white negroni, or in place of dry vermouth. The nose is fragrant with citrus peel, white flowers and mountain herbs. The palate begins with clean sweetness from the wine before gentian, wormwood and a hint of ginger bring bitterness. The finish is medium and refreshing, dry and pleasantly bitter with citrus.
