Rosebank – 1991/2022 31 Year Old Release 2 (70cl, 48.1%)

This Rosebank is a 31-year-old triple-distilled Lowland single malt, distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2022 as the second release of the global Legacy series. It matured in refill casks, taken from the stocks that remained after the distillery closed in 1993. It is bottled at 48.1%, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour. The nose is bright with lime and lemongrass, coriander seed and clove, softened by vanilla and sugared almonds. On the palate come mint, chamomile, leather, berries and banana bread. The finish turns sweeter, with peach and oak notes and long-lasting herbs.
