Rosebank 21 Year Old is the seventh and final release in The Roses series from Elixir Distillers. The spirit was triple-distilled at Rosebank in 1990 and 1991, before the Lowland distillery closed, and aged for 21 years in 75% ex-bourbon casks and 25% Madeira wine casks.
It was bottled at a natural cask strength of 50.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and is light gold in colour.
The nose offers honeydew melon, meadow flowers, cinnamon and strawberry juice. On the palate are vanilla sponge, aniseed, tarragon and strawberry jelly, and the long finish is floral and herbal, with toasted vanilla and liquorice root.
