Rosebank 31 1991/2023 - Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice - First Fill Bourbon Barrel (53.5%)

This Rosebank was distilled in 1991 and matured for 31 years in a first fill bourbon barrel. It was bottled in February 2023 at a natural cask strength of 53.5%. It is a single cask release in the Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice range, non-chill-filtered and without added colour. Rosebank was once known as the 'Queen of the Lowlands'. The nose offers creamy vanilla, juicy peach, ripe lychee and light pear. On the palate come baked apple and aniseed, with pineapple and lemon meringue over ripe oak. The finish brings mint, dark liquorice, lemon and lime.
