Rosebank – 31 Years Release 2

This Rosebank is a 31 year old Lowland single malt, the second release in the distillery's Legacy Releases series. It matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks before bottling. The whisky comes from casks gathered shortly before the Falkirk distillery closed in 1993. Despite more than three decades in wood, it keeps a bright, lively character. The nose offers citrus fruit, lime, lemongrass and coriander seed, with clove, soft vanilla and sugared almonds. Mint and chamomile on the palate meet leather, berries and banana bread. The finish is sweet, with peach, oak and long herbal notes.
