Rosebank – 32 Year Old Release 3 (70cl, 47.6%)

Rosebank 32 Year Old Release 3 closes the first worldwide series of three Rosebank Legacy bottlings. This Lowland single malt was distilled during the last three years of production before the distillery closed in 1993. It was bottled by the distillery in 2023 at 47.6%, in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtering or added colour. The whisky is triple distilled. Each bottle has an NFC tag on the back label for authentication, and a commemorative letter marks the distillery's reopening to visitors in 2024. The nose is elegant, with sweets, pineapple, dried apricot, gentle oak, candied ginger, lemon icing and marzipan. The palate is velvety, with malt, thyme and butterscotch alongside tropical fruit. The finish is soft and long, with lemon, honeyed porridge and toasted walnut.
